Pension

Receiving your pension (UK Pension)

You can claim your State Pension if you live outside the UK. However, you won’t be entitled to the increases that normally happen yearly and only receive the yearly index-linked increases. If you return to live in the UK or spend 6-moths or more in the UK, your State Pension will be increased to current levels. You can receive UK-based payments such as a pension, annuity or salary, you can arrange for your payments to be directly deposited into your bank account in Thailand. If you work and settle in another country before reaching State Pension age, you'll also be able to get your State Pension when you retire and claim it. There is NO tax on your pension while living in Thailand.
